Palin is a joke; she’s Dan Quale with a vagina. Someone might as well be out there on stage with her, like Jeff Dunham, with their hand up her ass, making her talk; she’s an idiot and a self-proven hypocrite.
Why in the Hell Fox News gives here any time at all is beyond me, but hell, they put Glenn Beck out there too… She can’t speak without writing the answers on her hand.
So we start with this… because someone used the word retard. It’s actually a word and it has a meaning and it’s been around for a very long time…
Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin is calling on the White House to fire Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel for using the word “retarded” in a strategy session last year.
In a posting on her Facebook page Monday, Palin blasted Emanuel for calling an idea from some of President Obama’s supporters “f—ing retarded” during an August meeting with liberal groups and White House aides.
The Wall Street Journal reported last week that Emanuel made the remarks after some participants said they planned to air ads attacking conservative Democrats who were critical of Obama’s health care agenda.
Palin, whose youngest child, Trig, has Down Syndrome, wrote that Emanuel’s expletive was “heartbreaking” and said his “degrading scolding” has been “completely ignored by the White House.”
“Just as we’d be appalled if any public figure of Rahm’s stature ever used the “N-word” or other such inappropriate language, Rahm’s slur on all God’s children with cognitive and developmental disabilities — and the people who love them — is unacceptable, and it’s heartbreaking,” wrote Palin.
Really? Oh do tell..
Palin believes Limbaugh’s repeated use of the word “retard” yesterday was “crude and demeaning,” her spokesperson emails.
In the wake of Palin’s demand that Rahm Emanuel be fired for saying the liberal activist strategy on health care was “f–king retarded,” a bunch of people have been asking how she’d react to Limbaugh’s tirade on the air yesterday.
“Our political correct society is acting like some giant insult’s taken place by calling a bunch of people who are retards, retards,” Rush said, adding that Rahm’s meeting yesterday with advocates for the mentally handicapped was a “retard summit at the White House.”
Oh but wait…
In a story detailing purported liberal criticism of White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel,The Wall Street Journal reported this week that, in a private meeting, Emanuel called plans by liberal groups to run ads targeting conservative Democrats “F-ing retarded.”
Following news of the hurtful comment, Palin, the mother of a child with Down syndrome, took to Facebook to demand Emanuel’s firing in a post she titled, “Are You Capable of Decency, Rahm Emanuel?”
The deservedly stern comments of an offended mother or the hypocritical nonsense of a political opportunist?
First, it’s worth noting that Emanuel has apologized for the comment at least twice now. It’s also worth noting that just a few short weeks ago, Palin fretted that we were becoming a nation where we — I’m guessing all the Joe the Plumbers out there — couldn’t use words that were “politically incorrect.”
Far from consistent, Palin has exposed herself as someone who deploys selective-victimhood as a politically motivated weapon.
And Limbaugh…
And he is just going on and on about RETARD… Retard this, retarded that, they’re retarded – it’s funny as Hell.
And now we have the FLIP-FLOP…
This is where Palin defends Rush… satire or not Limbaugh is a public figure, very popular in politics and he’s picking at people everyday, but yet, Palin thinks it’s okay for Rush to say it and use it as a condescending slur… oh, okay.
But the former governor went to great and sometimes awkward lengths to insist that when conservative talk show host Rush Limbaugh used the same exact term to describe the same exact group, it was simply in the role of political humorist.
“They are kooks, so I agree with Rush Limbaugh,” she said, when read a quote of Limbaugh calling liberal groups “retards.” “Rush Limbaugh was using satire … . I didn’t hear Rush Limbaugh calling a group of people whom he did not agree with ‘f-ing retards,’ and we did know that Rahm Emanuel, as has been reported, did say that. There is a big difference there.”
In the 30-minute sit down with host Chris Wallace, Palin addressed a wide swath of largely political topics — the policy minutia, undoubtedly, saved for another time and place.
