You can’t do anything anymore without offending someone or breaking a law; it’s just stupid.
It’s everything from what you do or say, how you say it, who you’re what you look like and who you know. Where’s the tolerance? Where’s the free speech? Where’s the freedom?
For the most part people are adults, they should act like it; stop whining.
If you don’t like the programming. For God sake people, turn the channel!
I’m surfing the web the other day and I read that more and more United States citizens are leaving the United States… I can see why; because stupidity is taking over.
Lack of Public Confidence
Starting off.. I think that the regime of George W. Bush was the worst time in American history.
More war crimes were committed, more laws broken, and the hypocrisy I’ve ever seen, and was done under his watch. It was people he chose, people that advised him and his cavalier attitude that he was untouchable. And the Obama administration has yet to confront him about it.
Before they did anything, they should’ve known, liberty should not die for the sake of security.
Does anyone actually read the constitution? If you read it, you’ll see. The founding fathers were traitors; traitors to Britain. But they weren’t going to live under British rule anymore. They had been oppressed too long, and their very being/existence was being threatened. They tried their best to write up a document that’d best cover the problems and grievances that they had dealt with.
Free Speech Is Almost Dead
The right to speak freely is the most important freedom we’ve and that’s being threatened everyday. People should be allowed to speak what ever they want, but not on a physically attacking/threatening manner.
Say what you want, but you pay the price for being incorrect, or reap the benefits for being right. People are being sued for what they say; and that’s okay.
But having to moderate, or speak in politically correct tones all the time is a hassle, and even if the effort is made, it can still be construed as offensive; everyone is getting offended. Where’s the acceptance/tolerance? Where’s the freedom to speak?
Taxation Without Representation
The straw to break the camels back was the taxation. Taxed on this, taxed on that… and there’s the famous reference; no taxation without representation. Basically, you can’t tax me and not do anything in return… you’ve to produce. They get around that by buying $400 hammers. The problem now is accountability. In the United States you’re taxed from birth to death, on many levels, may ways and not all of it clear or even fair…
Where’s the representation?
Laws Are Vague And Elusive
The United States has so many laws. People can be charged with just about anything; laws they never even heard of… And every lawyer and judge will tell you, ignorance of the law isn’t a defense.
That being said, who makes sure these new LAWS are provided to the people? Who Educates the people’ provides them with the rules? I think if more people were provided the rules, I think there would be more objection…
When buy a car, get a job, play a game or sign a contract; everything has rules and they’re normally documented. WHO makes sure everyone/the players know the rules?
If you don’t post the rules, how are people to follow them?

Law Enforcement Abuse Of Power
Law enforcement is a joke. The police have been turned in to accountants and bean counters. Their emphasis isn’t on law breakers, but making their quota; how much money they can get for the state?
Again with LAWS, where are they, where are they posted; has everyone been educated? And if even if they have, what about the abuse of power.
The use of excessive force by police is commonly documented.
Now police are afraid you’re going to expose them, so now they use the law against you to prevent you from recording them. Astonishing.
Politicians – Translated to Crooks/Idiots
Politician and crooks are synonymous. Politicians are bought and used everyday. Politicians have no interest in what you want, they want to serve the lobbyists; to the people that are paying them more money than you are. In the United States politicians are the national joke. If you want a good laugh look no further than the local news and anything politics related will set you a laughing.
Anyone with common sense can do a better job than a politician.
The problem with politicians is that they’re in government too long. They make it a career. They learn to dodge, duck and twist truth to stay where they are. Politicians are so dishonest they can’t remember what they said, how they said it or when the flip-flopped, or even why.
They should never be allowed to be in office more than 2 terms. Period.
It’s not hard to remember what you indicated if you were telling the truth, but politicians rarely write any of their own words, much less remember them.
John McCain is a prime example of that…
Citizens’ Wellbeing is Equated to Dollar Signs
The people of the United States aren’t being treated as they should. They’re being mis-treated. Every person deserves health care; not so much health coverage.
The problem is that the government is fat and it’s got virtually no accountability.
Everyone should be able to go to the doctor without worrying about how much it’s going to cost. Or knowing that a loved one is going to die because they can’t afford the treatment or fears of being dropped by an insurance company; it’s just incorrect to think that way.
The people brought attention to healthcare, they screamed and yelled and got attention to the issue and then the lobbyists, and idiots took over. They took rather rational requests and molested them to a complete abomination of what was actually being requested.
And while something was done, it’s far from perfect and far from what was requested. The health care of a human being should never be left to an accountant.
People are tired of the boot to the neck treatment. I honestly have to state that if there was another continent, a place unclaimed by humans, somewhere on the planet, people would move there, and revolt for the very reasons our founding fathers wrote The Declaration Of Independence.
…and that beats all.
