I was a person that thought Obama was a person with a strong resolve and wouldn’t be swayed by Washington politics and garbage, but I was taken for a ride; just like everyone else.
Obama’s time in office has been nothing but disappointment after disappointment.
He ran and campaigned on strong issues, end corruption, end the lies, end the health insurance abuses; he’s shown he can’t do any of that. His back is nothing more than political Jell-O.
His leadership dictates he speaks and then lets the congress argue it out. He doesn’t push the issue, he doesn’t address the country in a regular fashion to speak the truth…
I wonder how people like him, the politicians, can go to these town hall meetings, talk to people who speak plain English and explain their concerns, to have them just thrown away right after they turn the head away.
Americans have been sold a lemon again. The American government is so corrupt, it can’t get anything done.
The ongoing battle between Democrats and Republicans just sickens me every time. To hear the republicans say shit like they won’t pass anything as long as Obama is in office, or they they’ll block a law or bill going through because of X, but they won’t offer any solutions; they just want to be douche bags.
And for some reason they still think that ‘trickle down’ economics is the right thing to do; that’s because someone, rich, is paying them to keep it that way. And this is sad, it’s corruption and it’s typical for Washington.
Obama knows this. He may have entered the White House, but he found himself neck deep in shit he can’t control.
And I also believe that the Republicans are a bunch of old racists; I believe they hate the idea of a black president and they’re going to ensure that Obama fails so badly that the next time another black candidate gets of there to run for president, people are going to think of first black president and think about how ineffective he was and how dimwitted black people are in office.
There’s plenty of examples to show this…
As an American, I’m disgusted with our political system. It doesn’t server the public anymore; hasn’t for a long time. Our political system is corrupt from the top down. Those at the top are going to stay at the top and they no all the games to stay there. And as long as the lobbyists are lining their pockets, virtually sticking their hand up the politician ass to make them say and do anything, the people are never going to win.
Any politician that’s in office, taking lobbyists money should be removed.
I would rather see an over haul of the system…
All senators and congressmen should be removed, lobbyists money should be disallowed, their salaries capped [only the people can vote them a raise], the terms the senators and congressmen should be limited to 2 terms; no lifetime rides.
I believe this would be better than an all out revolution, and taking all those nasty rotten bastards out back and having them shot for treason [lying to the people]; what I believe a lot of our politicians deserve.
Olbermann, I believe very frankly points out exactly what everyone is thinking and feeling.
Obama’s message of ‘transparency’ was nothing but lies and smoke… He clearly has failed the American people and he will not have a second term if the republicans have anything to do with it. Obama has failed to bring any kind of ‘change’ to America…
…and that beats all.
