I’m not a Democrat or a Republican and the concept of two parties for voting is asinine; people should just vote on what is right— regardless of political party. But what I can say, is that the Republicans are bat shit crazy right now.
I see more and more actions by the Republican party attempting to limit, what, when where people can do things; and other actions that aim to undermine the constitution or the United States.
The awful actions by, the retard, Gov. Walker in Wisconsin are just a complete joke. He’s not doing this union breaking for money, he’s doing it to break the unions. To break the voting power that the unions have.
And if you have a state deficit, why would you cut police, fire and schools unions? Don’t you need to teach kids? Don’t you need police and firemen? I believe you need to find some other place to cut costs…
And his complete and utter regard to even make an attempt to talk to the unions SHOWS CLEARLY that it’s not an issue of it’s something he has to do, it’s something that’s being pushed politically. I would be willing to bet that the Republican party put him in power, as gov, so he could fight this very fight; because they knew how bad this would be on any candidate who tried to do this…
Now, not only have Republicans gone this route, and been completely deceptive about the goals; what they want to do…
They’re now attacking students; saying they they’re basically too obtuse to vote. They lack ‘life experience’ to be making decisions; like voting… This is clearly a step to keep Young people from voting. Republicans are saying they’re going to take away the right to vote; they’re simply going to clarify that you have to be ‘certified’ to vote, here, and in this way, with that person, at a specific time. Yeah – you heard me.
It’s not as complicated as it sounds.
Republicans are off their rocker, they’re obviously pushing to ensure Obama isn’t in the house; because they can’t stand the fact that a black man is in the White house… that’s all there’s to it. They’ve done nothing but act completely opposite for everything that Obama has tried to do in office, since he’s been there.
Regardless of your ‘party’ you should be thinking what’s best for the country, best for this nation and it’s people.
Everyone deserves the right to vote, to not be blocked or impeded in any way from doing so. People are suppose to vote; this shouldn’t be because they vote feelings or knowledge. People should have the innate right to vote.
And people should have the right to form an union to shield members from exactly what’s going on now.
…And that beats all.
