image thumb A prime example of government corruption by special interestsAs if AT&T needed another reason to make more money, the state of Kansas has granted AT&T the right to jack up the price of older, the traditional, landlines that everyone uses.

In a bill that was sponsored by AT&T and was pushed through by Scott Schwab, a Republican, who is also supported by Comcast, cox and other big telecommunications companies, but also by a Democrat Nile Dillmore; which received thousands of dollars in contributions as well.

Why and HOW does a representative of the government, on any level, able to be associated with these types of deals when they’re actively being supported by a company, or companies, that are giving that person thousands, and in some cases, millions of dollars to do what that company wants to get get done.

It’s a complete conflict of interest…

You can’t objectively do what the ‘people’ want if all you’re doing is listening to the people are giving you money.

I would like to submit this as a prime example of what is wrong is the United States.

This goes to show that the ‘politicians’ that are elected to serve are only serving the special interests, and to Hell with the people.

In older times, heads of state and politicians that were corrupt or found guilty of corruption would be shot or beheaded; maybe that’s what kept the other ones straight…

…And that beats all.
