If Transparency is what America wants – Why is Manning being penalized?
Posted on January 24, 2011 | No CommentsWhen Obama was running for office, before we realized that he’s now just another bought and paid for politician running on the slogan ‘yes we can’ [put a black man in the office, and make things much worse]; the people cried for justice, equality and level of transparency. The debates on who was right and who was incorrect, who’s going to fix this political mess? Nothing like that has happened… But this event with WikiLeaks is fairly large in comparison— I believe larger than anything else. I believe that people have been shown how the world of politics operates and... -
Dignified and Classy: The Last Countdown Sign Off of Keith Olbermann
Posted on January 21, 2011 | No CommentsAs Jon Stewart said it, [to paraphrase] I’m a climate person; a person who watches weather patterns, I’m not a weather man. Getting the new in the manner that we do it’s hard to get facts and it’s hard to concatenate the messages that are being thrown at you in 15 minute segments over an over. You have to be able to be a researcher, a miner, and data mine the information, to remove the bias from the reporting. I always found Keith Olbermann to be reporting good, entertaining and his interviews mostly kept my attention. He gained much popularity... -
The Ongoing Character Assassination of Sarah Palin – by her

She’s nothing but a public boob that people want to have read their speeches. The word ‘retard’ comes to mind when I think of Palin; not because of her mentally retarded son, but of the acts of retardation... -
Surprising: Jon Stewart Stays Neutral
Posted on January 11, 2011 | No CommentsThe Daily Show with Jon Stewart seems to be the sane voice of politics and all things generally obtuse, but last night [01/10/2011] he chose a different direction; something that’d be in line with 9/11— where he spoke seriously about the actions of the gun man in AZ and the deaths that occurred. Normally, The Daily Show has it’s talking points and it’s highs and lows, but it’s always there to bring fun to the seriousness of the political system; a system he thinks is clearly broken. And while he could’ve taken his show off in the same direction as...
